Associate Vice President - Sales (New Customer Acquisition)
Location: Gurgaon & Mumbai
Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the identification and acquisition of new customers (hunting role). The candidate will live and breathe the Company's way of life and ensure that the customers fully comprehend the significant value add that Innoviti provides to them
The candidate will interact and also mentor and drive a team who will interact with the key decision making staff at the customer's HQ.
Duties:
- Identify the target market in consultation with Sales Head, Business Head and Marketing departments.
- Identify positioning of product in the target market segments identified and go-to-market strategy for the same.
- Develop processes that will allow for efficient targeting of the segments.
- Work with marketing to develop target specific collateral and media plans.
- Preparation of yearly business plans based on company targets.
- Hire and train team of hunters - payment consultants, who will be able to help achieve the acquisition targets.
- Define targets for team and track the same, making changes to process and/or training and/or people as needed to ensure targets are met.
- Develops, maintains and establishes business relationships with senior leadership in prospective customers that would benefit from the broad range of services that Company offers
- Collaborate with Client management executives, internal technology and legal teams to support the structuring, negotiating and closing of new strategic partnerships.
- Timely presentation of targets and achievements to Head Of Sales and Business Operations
- Bring efficiency in sales cycle by using sales processes, tools and optimizing processes
- Facilitate and resolve issues, problems, escalations with cross functional teams
Skills and qualifications;
- B. Tech and MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 colleges
- 12 + years overall experience with recent 4+ years of experience in managing IT or Payment consultative customer acquisition team or from Acquiring banks or Corporate banking
- The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative and an expert in identification of business risks and their timely mitigation
- Should have demonstrated setting up of processes and evolving them based on actual performance.
- Should have demonstrated usage of sales tools and data for carrying out fine and coarse changes to plans.
- Should have managed the team who deal with CXO level positions in mid-large scale enterprises, across the country
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and passion for success
- Strong business planning, profit and loss planning and organizational skills
- Ability to lead the team by example and inspire the team to do better
- Sales stints in financial services industry would be an added advantage
- Have excellent communication, time management, listening, presentation and writing skills
- Should be open to rolling up his sleeves and going out for field visits with the team and do cold calls to grab more opportunities

Needless to mention, the person would be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity. He/She would have a track record of delivering results consistently in uncertain environments. Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage crucial conversations with very senior external stakeholders. Experience in managing successful scaling up of a business would be useful.
