Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Streamline Quality processes across one or more PCCs and drive value from the QE organization (lower defects, enable rapid deployment, higher automation etc)
- Ensure Quality KPIs are met, optimized and transparently tracked/reported on a continuous basis
- Contribute in test strategy, planning, execution, tracking/reporting throughout the SDLC, and ensuring non-functional testing/benchmarking is carried out
- Maintain strong relationships with functional leads and communicate risks/issues transparently and negotiate/prioritize any change of plan aligned to business requirements
- Lead and manage software quality teams and provide leadership, management and technical vision to the team
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience
Skill Set:
- Experience of 15-20+ years with considerable experience at a leadership level, managing and leading a globally distributed team of at least 50+ members (Including senior QE/testing members)
- Proven work experience in software quality engineering and strong knowledge of Quality methodologies, tools, and processes including Automation, Performance/Benchmarking and Security
- Excellent client-facing, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
- Experience of managing people, including career development, coaching and mentoring, and providing feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness
- A global work experience or considerable experience working abroad in various technical and leadership roles would be a plus
- Driving innovation, technical maturity, managing global stakeholders and key influencer skills are essential part of the role
Testing and Technical Skills:
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases
- Extensive experience working in call flows for SS7 (SCCP/TCAP/MAP and CAP) / Diameter / GTP / SIP / 5G networks
- Ability to work across multiple projects and large SAFe Agile programs and with underlying tools such as Jira/Github etc
- Good understanding of popular Test and Automation Tools, and script (Perl/Python etc) enabled Automation
- Experience in Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, Analytics/Bigdata, Telecom domain testing is preferred
