Associate Vice President - IT

Job Overview:

- Role will be responsible for driving key enterprise web as well as mobile applications development using AWS services.

- Individual will be closely working with US leadership to understand the IT roadmap as well as business vision.

- Should be actively contributing in shaping the IT roadmap along with US key stakeholders.

- Will be involved in planning & executing projects.

- Will be responsible for making sure offshore team capabilities are up to mark, have required level of automation across DevOps, testing, deployments etc.

- Also have key metrics established to understand progress of project as well as success or failure of project or release.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

- Translate the requirements into product specifications

- Ability to lead a strong cross-functional team to drive product enhancements from conception to-launch-to-growth

- Ability to own end to end responsibility.

- Experience having managed a product through its entire life cycle

- Prioritize Feature requirements and work in Conceptualization and detailing of wire framing/prototyping

- Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas in a simple way to a variety of stakeholders

- Customer management and excellent communication & presentation skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats

- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

- Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications

- Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures

- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget

- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions

- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models

- Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making

- Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to management

- Should have fair understanding of various Architecture standards

- Should be familiar with web & mobile application development technologies like AngularJS, React JS, React Native, NodeJS, Java, Dot Net etc.

- Should have fair understanding of automation testing tools, DevOps tools etc.

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports

- Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilities for IT Services

- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes

- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes

- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

- Co-ordinate with Vendors for all the outsources services.

- In addition to the above areas of responsibility the position maybe required to undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the broad scope of the position.
