Designation: Assoicate Vice President - Business Development

Overall Purpose of the Job:
The product is a B2B2C product catering to the Corporate sector. It aims to provide healthcare solutions to customers through our product.
The incumbent shall be directly responsible for:
- Selling such a product to various target verticals
- Maintaining relationship and growing our business with existing clients.
The BDM's performance will be measured by his (her) achievement of gross margin sales, as well as business/market development progresses and other KPIs.
The BDM shall also build up the Company's brand equity and - top-of- the-mind- positions in the region and among the assigned industry sectors.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets in designated region/industry. Ensure the Company's dominant position in the Corporate and Premium market.
- Develop and nurture relationship with key personnel of target account at multiple levels.
- Build up the Company's brand equity and - top-of- the-mind- positions in the region and among the assigned industry sectors.
- Monitor the market's key trends to capture major new business opportunities. Understands competition. Builds up strong industry knowledge and expertise.
- Work closely with the partnership and Operations Department to develop business solutions and turn pipelines into deliverable business.
- Maintain zero account attrition or 100% renewal rate.
- Work closely with Account Servicing team to manage post-sales support around an - event calendar- . Drive client communications with their customers, proactively engage clients to promote service utilizations and effectively manage clients- expectations.
- Manage to ensure favorable contractual and commercial terms.
- Meet accounts receivable targets and ensure that all accounts pay promptly and within agreed credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.

Required Work Experience:
- 4+ years- experience of selling intangible services in B2B segment, Business development; solution selling experience preferably in the Insurance, Mutual Fund, Financial advisory and wealth management sector.
- Account Management experience will be added advantage
- Experience of working in a matrix organization
- Understanding of Insurance, medical products will be an added advantage
