Associate - Strategy - Global Wholesale Banking - IIM/XLRI/ISB/FMS/SP Jain

We are looking for candidates who is into strategy making in banking. Can be from banking, Strategy/consulting firms, or Insurance.

Designation- Associate (Global wholesale Banking)

Only candidates passout from IIM, XLRI, Narsee Monjee, ISB-Hyderabad, SP Jain, FMS can apply

- Work as a part of the Wholesale Strategy division on global, regional and divisional projects

- Prepare presentations for senior management board meetings, investor day, off-sites, town halls

- Support management / business on strategic projects (e.g. assessing the impact of - Brexit- on banking industry and scenario analysis, impact of changing regulations on capital market business, acquisition screening / evaluation, supporting FinTech initiative etc)

- Strategic assessment of underperforming businesses and development of scenarios / recommendations for business heads

- Conduct analysis of the competitive and general macro / market environment for senior management presentations. Develop market sizing / revenue pool models

- Prepare quarterly presentation on Wholesale division's earnings covering financial performance analysis, changes in business environment and key themes impacting the earnings

- Most of the projects require working closely with strategy team members, business CAOs, finance and other functional teams in different regions; working independently or with the support of another member of the team

- Role provides wide exposure into investment banking industry across Fixed Income, Equities and IB Advisory.

- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a strategy role, in a consulting firm or a strategy/business planning unit of a financial institution

- Strong analytical skills and excel skills

- Strong with PowerPoint and presentation

- Strong communication skills (written & oral)

- Ability to multi-task efficiently and meet project deadlines
