Associate/ Sr. Associate - Large Corporate

- This is Corporate banking operations role, post sanction, documentation, renewals

- Responsible to look after Post sanction all types of documentation of large corporate

- To look after all lending documentation

Key Accountabilities :

1) Time bound loan documentation and transaction execution

2) Security perfection within timeline in satisfaction to CCU

3) Drafting of Offer Letter upon sanction of new / renewal of limits within 2 working days after release of term sheet / as instructed by RM and get it released by CCU- at any month end there should not be any open pendency for Sanction Received but Offer Letter not issued

4) Understand and proactively manage risk and appropriate controls in respective area of responsibility, escalating where necessary

5) Adheres to all policies and processes, obtaining necessary approvals for exceptions.

Job Duties & responsibilities :

1) Time bound loan documentation and transaction execution with effective liaison with the Client, external legal counsel, other 3rd parties (e.g. Lead Bank, Facility Agent, Security Agent, Valuers etc.) as well as internal stakeholders (e.g. CCU, Legal, Compliance, Risk, OBC SG Desk, Operations etc.)

2) Time bound security creation and proactively seek approval for due date extension

3) Think strategically to overcome challenges and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure transactions are executed all compliances in place

4) Share MIS inputs

- Technical/professional knowledge and experience

- Expert understanding of Large Corporate Wholesale Banking Loan documentation under Sole / Consortium / Multiple Banking

- Expert knowledge about nitty-gritties of various security creation processes in India (e.g. Hypothecation, Mortgage, Pledge etc.) to ensure securities are created in time and possible issues are identified at the inception

- Sound knowledge about delivery of various credit facilities - Term Loan, Working Capital Loans, off-shore facilities etc

- Working knowledge of banking regulations relevant for large corporate documentation

- Sound understanding of local competitors and the economy
