Description of the Role and Profile Requirement

Company: Investment banking firm

Role : Associate/Sr Associate - ECM team

Location : Mumbai

Job Requirements :

- MBA/CA/CS/LLB with 2-7 years' experience in strong execution and syndication skills.

- Experience in Execution of various ECM products - IPO / QIP / Rights Issue / Buybacks.

- Experience on completed transactions preferred.

- Knowledge of SEBI Regulations - ICDR, LODR, Buyback, Takeover Code.

- Practical knowledge of working on ECM transactions Dealing with various intermediaries & Regulators

- Deal experience in Investment Banking

- Sector agnostic in investment banking / corporate finance.

Relationships - both local and global

- Capability to predict future trends in the sector and thus create deals

- Sound understanding of Financial Statement Analysis and broader valuation concepts

Technical Skill:

- Proficient in using MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Financial Models.

Behavioural skills:

- Entrepreneurial Strong sense of ethics and integrity

- Ability to collaborate across all levels within and outside the organization.

- Strong people management skills

Job Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Pitch book, Presentations and other Marketing Material

- Assist the senior team members in all aspects of the business function

- Creation and updating of databases

- Doing primary research and data mining on sectors and companies

- Assist in preparation of Financial Projections / Model

- Assist in the due diligence process

- Collate and maintain backups and transaction records
