Associate/Senior Associate - Corporate Legal - M&A/Private Equity Domain - Law Firm - NLS/ DU/GLC/ILS

Our client a premier Law firm in Mumbai

Job Description :

Will be responsible for :

(a) Advising on various laws such as company law, SEBI laws, insolvency laws, foreign exchange laws, etc.;

(b) Structuring of transactions keeping in view applicable laws,

(c) Leading the due diligence team;

(d) Drafting, vetting, negotiating and advising on various types of agreements such as Share Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Shareholders Agreements for acquiring companies or selling companies or assets engaged in the Metal & Mines / Financial Services/ Information Technology / Entertainment /Power & Energy /Manufacturing /Infrastructure /Services sectors;

(e) Drafting, vetting, and finalizing various commercial agreement such as, distribution agreements, technology licensing agreements, technology assignment agreements, supply agreements, non-disclosure agreement, share pledge agreement, escrow agreements, power of attorneys, etc.;

Desired Candidate Profile :

(a) A Law Graduate / Post Graduate preferably from any national law school / reputed law colleges like Faculty of Law- DU, GLC, ILS, Jindals etc

(b) Have experience of 2-4 years( for Associate role) or 5-7 years (for senior Associate) in any Corporate law firm of repute; and

(c) Have strong communication and interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role.
