About the Position :


- Company's Product Research Team is responsible for providing research to drive and support strategic product direction across product wrappers and distribution channels. We are seeking an Associate who thrives at the intersection of data and insight to join the Product Research Team.


- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and analytical background. This position provides project based work such as industry and asset class research (AUM sizing and flow momentum), product scoring (investment strength, product attractiveness, market opportunity) and competitive analytics (positioning, opportunity assessments). Prefer more experience with market data services (Morningstar, eVestment) than programming (R, Python). Ideal candidates would have both

The position represents an excellent opportunity to :

- Provide research and competitive analytics to drive product opportunities

- Enhance existing product reports, in addition to designing and enabling the development of new ones

- Provide various departments (Global Product, Distribution, senior management) with ongoing concise actionable insights

Major Responsibilities :

- Design and create product research reports for both standard and ad-hoc initiatives

- Utilize industry databases to support team projects, synthesize data, and perform analysis

- Analyze public/non-public data to drive insights and inform recommendations

- Help identify forces impacting organization and its competitors by monitoring and assessing industry trends

- Work collaboratively and build trust with team members across organization

Required Skills and Experience :

- Degree with strong academic credentials preferably in statistics, mathematics, or technology related field

- At least 4+ years experience in analysis and visualization software (R, Python, Tableau)

- Strong and well-developed analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills

- Excellent end-to-end generalist problem solving skills and ability to identify issues and analyses

- Results oriented with exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects

- Previous asset management experience helpful, but not required
