Associate - Private Credit

Role & Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in areas such as structured credit, private credit, fixed income, real estate, REITs, and InvITs.

- Analyze financial statements and business models, including preparing and working on financial models.

- Conduct detailed credit analysis and risk assessments for corporate lending and structured debt deals.

- Track financial performance against market performance, updating management accordingly.

- Maintain MIS and track portfolio performance efficiently.

- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 3-7 years of experience in corporate lending, structured finance, or special situation financing, ideally with deals having an IRR above 15%.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and pay attention to detail.

- Experience in fundamental corporate credit analysis, balance sheet analysis, and financial modelling.

- Basic knowledge of IBC, RBI, and SEBI regulations.

- Demonstrated ability in company research and preparation of investment memos.
