Associate Partner/Senior Associate - Indirect Tax - CA/LLB/LLM - Law Firm

The incumbent will handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws including :

- Tax Restructuring, Tax Advisory and consulting

- Appeals pertaining to Service Tax, VAT, Excise

- Foreign Trade Policy,

- Octroi (State specific) laws and Customs Law.

- In addition, there may be assignments relating to Income tax laws

- Client Management

- People Management

- Operations

- Peer Review

- Practice administration

Desired Candidate profile :

Qualified CA or CA plus LLB/LLM

- Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience and minimum 7 years of experience in Indirect Tax

- Proven supervisory / leadership abilities

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills including legal/technical drafting

- Very good interpersonal skills and good analytical / process skills.
