- Utilizing recent and accurate information (including Customer-internal, Supplier-internal, multi-Customer-based grouped data, and other industry and/or professional association and/or academic information sources)
- Complete requests for Sourcing Support from Customer and/or Category Manager
- Conducting external market research
- Developing the Customer's internal change strategy
- Understanding the category financial baseline
- Support and assist Customer in the development of Statements Of Work (SOW) containing detailed user requirements and supplier expectations
- Pre-Qualify Suppliers based on prior experience and performance in the category, financial strengths/ratings, and ability to meet or provide current requirements.
- Developing a mechanism for measuring the savings/value of the Sourcing Initiative
- Assistance with RFx and eRFP creation, including co-ordination of Third-Party Supplier and user creation in eSourcing platform
- Management of live of RFx and eRFX event, including functional support for users and Third-Party Suppliers
- Co-ordination of responses to Third-Party Supplier questions
- Third-Party Supplier training and support
- Post event reporting
- Managing a team 50 FTEs
- Negotiations with suppliers across the globe
Desired candidate profile:-
- Graduation / Post-Graduation with Min 12 years of total working experience. 10 years in Supply chain management. Complete life cycle of Supply Chain management.
- Good PROCUREMENT domain knowledge. Good experience in Transition.
- Current managing a team of 20 - 25 members.
- Good negotiation skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of contract management and administration workflow
- Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment
