Associate/Manager - Procurement - Agri Commodities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
Planning :

- Maintain constant touch with market pulse and arrivals

- Take price, volume and quality ranges from supply chain teams and plan buying

- Plan stock utilization and liquidation to ensure price competitiveness and quality

Procurement :

- Procure target volumes of chilli spice primarily through AMC/mandi buying and suppliers or farm

- Ensuring tradeoff in price-quality range of procured material through rational buying liquidation position buy stock or using existing inventory for different orders

- Training and development of assisting buyers for maintain quality purchase

Bills & Payments :

- Coordinate for bill processing, purchase orders and work orders with finance function

- Track payments of procurement made

- Developing local network for procurement and sales

- Meet with service providers for service agreements monthly

- Meet with traders & commission agents

Business Networking :

- Traders and suppliers for procurement and sales

- Liaison with local channels for gathering inputs useful for making informed buying decisions

- Integrating crop development team for crop intelligence, information and sourcing
