Job Title: Associate (Manager)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:

Role responsibilities will encompass all generalist HR functions. This role is primarily responsible for executing HR initiatives for all employees in order improve performance and build capability and commitment to the organization

Some specific responsibility areas are to:

- Work with senior HRA to drive HR initiatives for business division

- Work closely with business managers, understanding the business, its needs and leveraging the understanding for HR delivery

- Drive employee engagement initiatives for the business unit. Conduct engagement surveys and coordinate Focus Group Discussions on a need basis, in order to gauge employee perceptions & opinions to deliver credible insights to business leadership

- Communicate and reinforce the Nomura value proposition & culture through various HR initiatives

- Work with business managers to determine specific HR business needs within the Business Unit and guide them to resolve HR issues

- Drive training, career development planning and implementation of employee development programs within the division

- HR Operations, retention, employee connect, propagate & live our employee value preposition

- Drive Year-End Processes like Compensation, Performance Appraisal and Advancement

- Create forums and facilitate interactions between the employees & the business leadership on a regular basis

- Ensure effective cascading of HR policies & practices across the division

- Support in HR control, governance and reporting

Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

- Should have generalist HR experience in MNC organizations (With a good exposure to HR practices)

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, Strong on data analytics

- Articulate, High on judgment and maturity

Desirable: Exposure to working in highly matrix organization & ability to connect with the Global stakeholder.

Position Specification:

MBA/ PG in HR with a minimum 5-6 years- experience in Human Resources in the Financial Services industry

We need candidates having experience in Employee Engagement, Performance management & Career progression.
