About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Associate Finance Manager who is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the effective management of financial resources, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves analyzing financial data, managing internal controls, and supporting business strategies through financial insights.
Responsibilities
Controllership and Monthly book closure
- Manage monthly book closing with the vendors
- Coordinating with the parent company for group consolidation
- Ensure accurate accounting and book closing
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide insights and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
- Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely reporting of financials to stakeholders.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Monitor the organization's cash flow and ensure the availability of funds for business operations.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, overseeing loans, credit lines, and investments.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Cost Management & Optimization:
- Analyze cost structures, recommend cost-saving strategies, and improve operational efficiencies.
- Monitor expenditures and implement financial best practices across departments.
Statutory and Tax Audit
- Managing and conducting statutory and tax audits for the entity
- Coordinating with various department to obtain the information and manage the auditors
- Ensuring clean audit for the period
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational activities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and auditors.
- Provide financial insights during board meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Certifications: CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications mandatory.
- Experience: 8 -10 years of experience in financial management or a similar role, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
GCC experience is a mandatory.
