We are seeking a product and business marketing person to join our dynamic Marketing team. This would be a sales enablement and GTM role and the person will be handling end-to-end field marketing and on-ground activities.
- The ideal candidate should be a dynamic, business marketing candidate with passion for technology.
- This candidate will be assisting in B2B marketing and a wide range of go-to-market tactics. He/she must be expert in the product and then be able to translate this to the sales team and then convert into sales messaging.
- The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of field marketing campaigns. S/he will work closely with marketing managers and the sales team to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities.
The role:
- Establish positioning amongst target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different field marketing channels and segments
- Work with businesses closely to develop customer outreach strategy; spearhead initiatives to meet objectives based on lead generation, customer acquisition, and more.
- Drive marketing influenced pipeline and generate MQLs through field activations and support of the sales team
- Create meaningful content and sales enablement collaterals to drive effective lead gen campaigns
- Spearhead company's event and tradeshow strategy that supports business goals, including but not limited to: identifying key events, maintain pre- and post-show communication, and event attendance
- Manage and coordinate each event's campaign components including booth planning, print, digital, social, telemarketing, communication to attendees, facilitating hand-offs to sales for follow-up and nurturing.
- Analyze, track, and report on event/customer connects ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics using CRM, email marketing, and similar systems
- Build relationships with customers and prospects on a one-to-one basis
- Conduct market research, competition mapping for understanding the market and opportunities
- Source new sales opportunities through data mining, data segmentation through various tools
- Responsible for driving effective campaigns for alliance and partner marketing
- Build meaningful relations with media bodies, industry bodies and influencers to drive more traction
- Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory include collateral, giveaways, etc.
- Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
- Manage marketing budget and commercial process
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization, in particular the business units, functional units (supply chain/purchase, finance), subject matter experts content programmers
- Partner closely with marketing peers, cross-functional teams, associations/partners and vendors to ensure all field marketing programs align to overall communication strategies and tactics.
Skills and Experience:
- 10-14 years of experience working in the B2B space and a passion for technology with an appreciation of today's IT buying needs across multiple vertical markets.
- The person will also work closely with our Creative and Content experts to craft campaign propositions - having his/her own big ideas, out-the-box thinking and innovative approaches to market.
- B.Tech + MBA (Preferably in Marketing but not mandatory)
- Highly creative and preferably with a writing background
- Understanding of Marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Eloqua or Pardot
- Contemporary knowledge and understanding of modern B2B marketing trends, skills and approaches
- Understanding of modern marketing tools and technology platforms
- Ability to think creatively, develop creative briefs and single minded propositions
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and trust with senior stakeholders and peers.
