Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive topline and bottom-line growth in line with company objectives.

- Monitor revenue, margin and their contribution to overall business targets.

- Regularly review category performance and present updates to senior management.

- Identify gaps and opportunities in the category to ensure growth on a month-on-month basis.

- Develop and implement category strategies, including pricing, product assortment, and promotional plans.

- Experience in Demand Generation, managing P&L, category Sales, etc

- Benchmark category performance against competitors and industry trends.

- Collaborate with the sourcing and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce inventory risks.

- Collaborate with the Category Ops, Category Marketing, CRM and Media teams to ensure proper visibility of respective categories

- Devise strategies to increase traffic and conversion metrics by closely monitoring all category funnels.

- Analyze customer behaviour, market trends, and feedback to sharpen the category strategy.

- Utilize data to identify consumer preferences and ensure the category meets evolving customer needs.

- Develop pricing strategies to drive volume, optimize margins, and maintain competitive positioning.

- Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align on category goals and execution plans.

- Generate and analyse weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to track category performance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in category management

- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.

- Proficiency in analyzing data and deriving actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Proven track record of successful campaign ideation and execution.
