Associate/Manager - Actuary - General Insurance

Our client is one of the leading consulting firms which provides industry focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their Actuarial team in Mumbai.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Apply actuarial skills and experience to a variety of assignments, always maintaining the highest quality of professional advice in order to maintain and enhance the firm's standing and market reputation.

- Successfully manage and deliver a wide range of concurrent actuarial and multidisciplinary assignments, including acting as one of the client's main points of day-to-day contact on assignments. Develop standard practices and methodologies for delivery of assignments.

- Develop new and existing client relationships, to understand client needs and generate further work opportunities.

- Has experience majorly in General Insurance product classes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Have 2+ years of experience working as an actuary or pricing analyst in the general insurance product class, either within Motor Insurance/Health Insurance/Marine Insurance/Property and Casualty insurance.

- Understanding of general insurance products.

- Have a wider commercial awareness, including the understanding of wider business issues.

- Have strong oral, listening, and written communication skills.

- Have the potential to develop strong people management, client handling and development skills, including interpersonal sensitivity and influencing skills.

- Min 4 papers cleared.
