Educational Qualifications: BA/BSC
- 15+ years of experience with legal project operations and management in-house or at a law firm (both preferred)
Key Responsibilities :
- Reporting to the Global Head of Legal & Compliance, you will lead efforts to both set the direction and standards for Legal &Compliance projects. You will also play a significant role in developing the long-term strategy and roadmaps.
- The candidate would be a strategic partner to the President & General Counsel. The person should have the ability to help design a strategic roadmap that addresses
- Define metrics for tracking and creating early warning indicators for proactive action
- Elevate overall Project Management capability including risk management
- Build, track, and maintain legal files, legal documents, notices and other correspondences within team, cross functional teams, external agencies and government department
- Cross-check and validate information with various stakeholders in business and revert within set time frame process changes, technology adoption, and internal/external collaboration.
- Review basic documents for accuracy and have basis sense of understanding legal documents and terminology
- Provides legal support services within the mandate of the Legal Affairs department, for all business functions and activities including commercial contracts and regulatory
- Develop and monitor the legal team's contract lifecycle management process. Exposure to contract field, contracts administration, or legal operation
- Take charge of all change management planning and communication
- Developing & setting up SOP and required checklist for legal function.
- The candidate will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team, facilitate change, and control costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as various business units
- Preparation and maintenance of Legal MIS
- Support in the preparation of presentations
- Onboarding support of New joinee in legal department
- Invoice and budget management
- Assisting GC in his work, including administrative work
- Any other Legal/Compliance work as may be given
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in business applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, document management systems, and legal enterprise software
- Ability to work with multiple data sets in order to make informed recommendations; experience with business intelligence tools is preferred
- Experience with legal analytics and legal terminology
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others
