The firm is involved in big ticket corporate deals across practice groups like taxation, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, banking and project finance, etc.

2. POSITION OBJECTIVE

- A top Mumbai based legal firm is looking for Associate in Indirect taxation.

3. SKILLS REQUIRED

- Should have knowledge on VAT, CESTAT, Service Tax, Customs and other advisory work pertaining to Indirect Taxation.

- Should be aware of various procedural/statutory compliance, rules and regulations

- Should be in a position to advice corporates and conglomerates on adherence to various compliance requirement

Other soft skills

- Good analytical skills, confidence in handling clients and matters independently or with least guidance

- Excellent communication skills.

- Candidate should have an independent mind and should be hungry for challenging assignments

- Should be updated with all latest development

3. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Applicants should be CA/CA+LLB

- Candidates should have 4-5 years of post-qualification experience

Preferably from law firm/accounting firm or should have modest independent practice
