Job Title: Accounts Payable

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Lead Accounts Payable to oversee our accounts payable function in the paint industry.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage and mentor a team.

- This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership:

- Lead and supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the accounts payable team.

Accounts Payable Management:

- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payments.

- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Vendor Relations:

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and professionally resolving payment issues.

- Negotiate payment terms and contracts with vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: CA or CMA

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 8 years in a supervisory role.

- Experience in the paint or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e., SAP, Oracle).

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
