Associate - Forecasting - Boutique Healthcare Consulting Firm

Position Summary : 

The Forecasting Associate is an integral member of project teams working closely with management and other team members. We are looking for a driven, committed and energetic individual who will be responsible for building forecast models, assisting senior staff on forecasting projects, and clearly presenting forecast models and outputs to internal management. The Associate is also responsible for effectively communicating with every project team member including managers on all matters related to project assignments. In this position, the Associate is expected to multi-task across multiple projects and project types concurrently while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Position Responsibilities : 

- Build forecast models

- Provide ongoing support for existing forecast models

- Work on creating best practices and modules to help standardize forecasting

- Assist in creating and implementing quality control best practices

- Assist senior staff in providing on-site support to clients when applicable

- Work closely with general consultants as well as Primary Market Research, Advanced Analytics and Statistics teams to create forecasts that leverage multiple areas of expertise

- Help develop client-ready forecasts and supporting materials independently and clearly present findings

- Communicate with clients when applicable

- Maintain communication with senior staff to ensure that internal and external timelines are met

- Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned

- Provide general forecasting support to both forecasting team managers and generalist consultants

Position Requirements

Education: BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields

Work Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in forecasting, analytics or related area. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and forecasting is preferred.

- Proficient with MS Excel (knowledge of VBA is preferred)
