Associate Finance Controller

Job Description : The job of Associate Finance Controller focuses on supporting the delivery of high quality, timely reporting for group, management and statutory purposes. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with external as well as internal financial reporting requirements including IFRS, local statutory laws & regulations. The role requires to delegate, coach, supervise and review/approve the outputs of the Reporting Accountant's who support this role.

Client Details : They are a multinational medical equipment manufacturing and production company headquartered in England having their India operations set-up in Pune, producing advance wound management products, anthroscopy products and orthopaedic reconstruction products. They're also a listed entity on the LSE.

Description :

The key responsibilities of Associate Finance Controller will be :

- Preparing financial reports in compliance with Group Standards

- Being responsible for high quality, timely reporting for group and statutory purposes

- Overseeing and reviewing financial statements, including relevant schedules

- Analysing financial data and providing ad-hoc analysis including decision support to the business

- Coordinating with external and internal auditors for performing audit processes

Profile :

The successful candidate for the position of Associate Finance Controller will be :

- CA/CMA Mandatory

- 8-10+ years of post qualified experience, either in global accounting practice or in industry

- Minimum of 4+ years people Management Experience

- Strong technical accounting knowledge, working knowledge, expertise and experience in reporting under IFRS

- Working knowledge and application of SOX control frameworks

- Relevant industry experience, ideally in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals

- SAP Mandatory
