Qualification and Experience

- CA/CPA/ ACCA

- Recent and extensive experience in the application/implementation of IFRS accounting standards and US GAAP

are required- 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience in Big4 national office or similar function (e.g.,

Capital Markets Group or serving large/complex clients)

- Experience in conducting external audits in accordance with ISAs/US GAAS will be beneficial

- Well-developed supervisory skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals internally and with US stakeholders at different seniority levels

- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

- Driven and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a pragmatic fashion

- Strong project management skills, particularly managing stakeholders' expectations and proactively communicating issues, solutions and progress

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective upward management and cross team communication

- Develops networks, who enjoys interaction with staff from various parts of the firm an d displays a flexible approach to work

- Desire to learn new skills and challenge the status quo

- IT savvy, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word etc. Should be able to use MS Power Point to create effective presentations

Job Requirement :

- Working with other subject matter experts and stakeholders from the business

- Drafting/ updating of new IFRS and US GAAP accounting and ISA and US GAAS audit technical guidance (i.e., related to both internal firm guidance and external publications)

- Staying on top of and following current developments at the IASB and FASB

- Contributing along with other team members/senior managers/ US national office team in preparing guidance and examples

- Assisting US national office team in preparing illustrative financial statements

- Working with the business and the wider quality agenda to identify needs for additional guidance/templates/examples in certain areas of the business (e.g., Banking audits)

- Developing templates and examples to support consistent execution of quality audits

- Ongoing maintenance/improvement of information structure on internal website on technical guidance

- Developing exam items based on learning objectives of various job levels following NASBA and firm guidance
