Roles & Responsibilities:
- Developing business by identifying new business opportunities by exploring the existing clientele or finding new clients by creative means.
- Delivering presentations under Transfer Pricing / Tax topics in various forums.
- Publishing articles and technical content in various platforms.
- Resolving issues proactively which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty.
- Understanding Transfer Pricing case laws, working on case rulings, data assessments, litigation matters.
- Leading Transfer Pricing advisory engagements and Tax reviews for clients.
- Coaching the team and encouraging them to take ownership of their project developments.
- Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations.
- Using multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop and propose solutions.
- Identifying and addressing sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.
- Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcome for all parties involved.
- Focusing on building trusted relationships.
- Effectively managing quality of assignments delivered by the team.
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Desired Profile:
- Education: Qualified CA / CFA / MBA / M. Com
- 8-9 years of Transfer Pricing functional experience
- Should have a strong consulting background
- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Client facing experience is preferred
- Willingness to travel
Skill Set:
- Strong inter- personal skills, leadership with proven track record and team building ability.
- Should possess strong international outlook and good cross cultural comfort level
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines while working both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively and utilize project management skills to manage tasks according to strict -deadlines
- Demonstrating experience as a team leader by creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner, and keeping the leadership informed of any progress or issues
