Associate Director - Home and Personal Care Unit Techno commercial Research

Our client is an organisation with a turnover of over Rs 5000 crores .

For oneof the research divison we are looking for a senior leader .

Job Roles & responsibilities:

- Drive to achieve group's (a group of teams) revenue and cost goals at group and team level

- Lead / hire / build / develop / train / mentor a team of Managers, Asst. Managers, and PMs specialized in offering techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials domain

- Strategise and drive group's business development with or without the support from sales / BD colleagues; clearly articulate research and advisory services to client and engage them with thought leadership; drive marketing outreach programs; initiate and develop industry / capability decks, white papers, thought papers, articles, case studies, etc. to support business development

- Lead / Build / write ORCs / strategic programs / large RFPs / deals (gather requirement during client briefing, formulation of winning research solutions for client's business problems, designing of commercial framework, effective presentation of solution and offer, etc.)

- Setting process and review mechanism to ensure successful execution of engagements ensuring company-defined quality and timeline standards; oversee ORCs / strategic programs / large RFPs / deals

- Drive and implement organizational / BU / Practice-level policies, initiatives, etc.

Job Requirements: 

- Bachelors and / or Master's degree in Cosmetology / Cosmetologist / Cosmetics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Oils / Oleo chemicals / Surfactants Technology, Polymer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, etc.; MBA is a plus.

- Min. ten (10) years of experience in consulting / custom research & advisory with decent exposure to chemicals & materials domain

- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to over-communicate effectively

- Organized; planned; matured; detail-oriented

- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

- Thought leaders with strong analytical mindset

- Ability to plan, break down, delegate, and manage multiple tasks effectively

 -Excellent knowledge of various research tools and methodologies, analysis frameworks, data visualization tools, and business writing and presentation (MS Office)

Other Specific Requirements: 

- One should have worked on a range of custom research or consulting engagements and strategic programs, with experience of handling multiple open-source and commercial databases. Up to date with recent industry happenings and challenge areas in the chemicals & materials industry, as well as aware of latest trends like sustainability, carbon neutrality, circular economy, digitization, etc.

- Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc. is desirable.

- Experience in research platform as a service (PaaS) is a plus.

Associate Director will report to Practice Head. The incumbent in this role will work closely with our team members based out of this Global Knowledge Center as well as other team members in the US and Europe.
