Job description:
The practice is currently involved in servicing clients in areas such as finance controllership, CFO outsourcing, audit support services, health check/ clean-up of books of accounts, finance transformation/ optimisation, functional support in ERP implementation, etc.
The candidate is expected to operationally manage the CFO services practice of the group
Apply prior knowledge/ experience in the below areas:
- Finance controllership
- Audit liaising and closure
- Working knowledge of GAAPs (applicable in India, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Taxation applicable in India
- Accounting and bookkeeping and working on one or more complex ERPs
- Financial management and budgeting
Primary role would include:
- Responsible for leading operations and support in Business Development of the practice
- Responsible for creation of visibility of the practice e.g. thought leadership, speaking engagements, representing the practice in webinars etc.
- Handle and nurture client relations at senior level (to have excellent communication skills)
- Nurture the mindset to grow the practice
- Support in driving implementation of strategy or business plans developed for the practice
- Handling and mentoring associates working in the practice
- Handling the organisation structure of the practice
- Support and lead the digital transformation and quality initiative of the practice
Secondary responsibility would be as below,
- Business development including lead generation and lead conversions
- Train associates and groom them with a defined growth path
- Other group initiatives, practice initiatives where the candidate could be involved as we progress
- Should take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results
- Work with internal as well as external stakeholders in a collaborative manner
- Handle a minimum team size of 10-15 associates

Desired Candidate Profile:
Looking for a professional (CA preferred) with experience of 11 to 15 years with working with/ for corporates in areas including:
- Finance controllership
- Finance and Budgeting
- Audit liaising and closure
- Tax compliances
Professional could be part of the team with the corporate enterprise or have advised in professional capacity for the areas mentioned above
The candidate is expected to have good knowledge/ experience of:
- Finance controllership o Audit liaising and closure
- Working knowledge of GAAPs (applicable in India, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Taxation applicable in India
- Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping and knowledge of working on one or more complex ERPs
- Financial management and budgeting
- He/she should have a solution oriented and positive approach along with a dynamic personality and a passion of problem solving
- Should possess the ability to understand client needs and deliver them with quality
- Should be flexible to travel
- Prior experience in managing a team of around 10-15 Associates is a must
