Position reports to: Director / Partner

POSITION PURPOSE:

Associate Director - SAP - Position Description

Key Accountabilities Role Descriptors Measurables/KPI- s

Market/ Client - Leads/ Manages multiple projects or programs through the management of team of professionals

- Drive aggressive sales in the market place- attend and actively participate in Business Development initiatives

- Ensure supervision of a minimum hours clocked on a client, profitable operations and average recoverability on new jobs won

- Enhance the Firm and personal brand value

- Develops and maintains external networks, including peers in other organizations, KPMG alumni, global contacts, social contacts and existing clients.

- Uses knowledge of KPMG's broad service offerings to actively generate new business opportunities.

- Deepen key account relationships

- Deliver consistent client delight

- Develop and roll-out client/industry centric solutions

- Maintains an awareness of market trends, competitor activity and product/services - Number of projects managed or lead

- Count and value of new wins and NFR managed

- Nil deviation from budgeted/approved recovery- Minimum overall recovery of 50%

- Number of Thought Leaderships/Articles, POVs contributed

- Repeat wins from current clients

- Feedback from Client Service Reviews (CSR) - > 80% very good & excellent

- Networking with peers within the organization, Alumni, global contacts, social contacts and existing clients

- Participation in seminars and Industry events

- Manage NFRs- Nil deviation from budgeted vs approved recovery

Quality - Display excellent project management skills to deliver high quality work on time and to budget

- Display excellent financial management of projects

- Plan and re-schedule priorities and timescales in light of changing requirements

- Clearly articulates the importance to team of delivering high quality work within a regulatory environment

- Ensures self and team comply with risk management requirements

- Adhere to operational excellence norms on proposals

- Undertakes professional qualification & training within required timeline to build on skill and expertise

- Executes projects to a level that meet the member Firms Quality standards

- Use Source tools in engagements over INR 1 crore

Mandatory position Source tools in DRB pursuits (over INR 2 crore) - Number of successful projects managed

- Project financials like Lockup/ Recovery/ Debtors/ Utilization

- Feedback from Partners, clients, and teams

- Number of incidents resulting from poor quality and/or risk

- QPR - Green Rating

- Operational excellence metrics (write offs, write ons, large proposals) - Nil variances from process

- Ensure update of resume and skills on Intellego is as per timelines

- Certification or course as required

- All engagements over 1 crore to be on Source

- Cross sell

People - Ensures team accurately charge time to Engagement codes to see true value of work delivered and to recognize individual/team effort.

- Meets KPMG deadlines throughout the Performance Development cycle for self and team [if Performance Manager] including; seeking quality feedback, goal-setting, providing input into engagement/project reviews, cascading own goals and regular conversations with apraisees and team members, to a standard expected under Open Performance Development.

- Identifies development needs of team and provides coaching, mentoring and stretch assignments to attract, develop and retain our most talented colleagues.

- Effectively supports and manages under performance, in line with local guidance and policies.

- Takes action to ensure well being matters are properly handled and resolved by demonstrating empathy and awareness of team.

- Ensures team accurately charge time to Engagement codes to see true value of work delivered and to recognize individual/team effort.

- Builds constructive working relationships across different teams and countries. Shares internal networks with others to support an understanding the breadth of capabilities at KPMG.

- Actively shares knowledge with other KPMG colleagues/teams and contributes to the development of knowledge resources.

- Champions Global People Survey (GPS) and/or wider people focused actions and initiatives which drive cultural improvement across their local team(s).

- Manages onboarding of new starters, including buddy responsibilities. - 100% compliance to deadlines

- Accurate and timely charging time to engagements

- Timely communication of feedback to juniors/ reportees as an engagement/performance manager

- Knowledge sharing sessions or trainings for team members

Public Trust - Completes all mandatory and regulatory training required by member firm by the due date.

- Flags/escalates work that does not fit with firm capabilities or Risk Management criteria.

- Takes action and speaks up if they observe and/or are made of conduct that is inconsistent with KPMG's values and ethical standards. - 100% compliance to the risk mandates of the Firm

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications: - CA OR ICWA from reputed institutes

Experience: - 9+ years of SAP experience

- SAP certification would be desirable

Skills or Knowledge:

- Verbal and written communication skills High level of competence required - Excellent communication and presentation skills are required for client interaction

- Excellent report writing skills

- Technical Knowledge High level of competence required - Hands on experience SAP implementation or support projects on either of the core SAP modules (FI/CO plus BPC or Treasury). Excellent knowledge on SAP module concepts.

- Should have at least 5-6 end to end SAP implementation experience in modules

- Experience in CIN preferable

- Executing SAP related engagements - requirements gathering, pre & post implementation review, BBP design and review, configuration review, program management engagements, project risk engagements, data migration engagements, segregation of duties design or review engagement

- Assisting clients in finalizing organization structure design in SAP

- Demonstrating strong business understanding and suggest SAP solution for various business scenarios

- Exposure to more than 1 module would be an added advantage

- Ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects

- Interacting with various Head of Departments and CEO level personnel, SAP implementation partner teams, client IT team and other stakeholders

- Maintaining excellent client relationship

- Get more business and cross sell

- Adept at handling multiple projects and teams

Project management skills & Business Acumen High level of competence - To facilitate effective account management across various streams of activities including: account planning and client relationship management, pipeline management, delivery alignment and client feedback.
