Position Overview
As the Associate Director Sales for the West region in our Staffing Solutions division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and managing a high-performing sales team. Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned territory. This is a leadership role that requires a strong sales acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the staffing industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the West region to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define sales targets, budgets, and resource allocation.
Business Development:
- Generate new business leads and opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, understanding their staffing needs and positioning our solutions accordingly.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance expectations and providing regular coaching and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving needs.
- Continuously assess customer satisfaction levels, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations and delivery teams, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates, identifying risks and opportunities for the business.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend strategic adjustments and improvements.
- Accountabilities include program management planning and execution, develop, finalize and ensure ongoing continuous improvement for all assigned client activity.
- Additionally, responsible for overall program management, program expansion and strategic delivery including preparing for and facilitating Quarterly Business Reviews.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in driving sales growth, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, and expanding customer base.
- Strong leadership abilities with a successful track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends, making data-driven decisions.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
