Overview:


The Market Development team is our direct link to our customers and brings in the revenue. It includes sub teams like Renewals, HVM (High Value Memberships), Hubs, and Retail Centres. They might be spread across locations but they are united by one cause..."What's the sale for today?"

Role:

- Associate Director will lead the business development team for the BU.

- The role involves front-leading a team of 70+ people and be accountable for their productivity.

- The person will be required to pull up his/her sleeves and get involved in every aspect of market development & sales.

- This is a strategic and important part for the business hence we need someone who is analytical, strategic as well as tactical.

- The candidate needs to be owning and hitting/exceeding quarterly/annual sales targets with the assigned teams.

The most valuable traits we are looking for in this role are:

- Ownership - You will own the strategy, delivery, quality, and the outcomes of the customer Support team and will be accountable for the same.

- User orientation - Create time for customer interactions and user understanding. Start by looking at things from the user's perspective and don't stop until you've evaluated how the solution has impacted the user.

- Velocity- You will be expected to deliver results in a fast paced, operationally intensive, and rapidly changing environment.

- Ethical - Work ethic is about showing up, being on time, being reliable and doing what you say. It is about being a fundamentally good person that others can count on and enjoy working with.

What you will do in this role:

- Accountable for the revenue targets as per quarterly OKR's & will monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.

- Will be accountable for the productivity growth of his team.

- Develop a highly motivated team that can manage the entire sales cycle from identifying a prospect to sales and identify customers for repeat business.

- Hiring, Motivating, Retaining and driving the sales team towards the attainment of the company's objectives.

- Keep updated on the competition: new initiatives, revenue, market penetration, organization structures, pricing strategies, Incentive structure and update the management.

- Build and develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders and be available for support.

What you should have:

- 8+ years relevant experience with 8 years in Telesales team management, preferably in Internet industry.

- Postgraduate /MBA or equivalent.

- Exposure to value & volume selling is a must.

- Good Understanding of Quality metrics and process improvements.

- Drive performance management by applying and implementing best in class performance metrics.

- They are looking out for a candidate who comes with 8+ years of total experience with pre-dominant experience into Inside sales in the B2C domain only.

- This candidate should compulsory know to communicate in TAMIL as this person would be handling the entire South Region and would be reporting into the Senior Director Sales.

- This person should have handled a team in the past.

- The candidate should be comfortable to travel once in a month
