Job Description : Origination of Mutual Fund ideas, across fixed income and equity, tie-ups with AMC's, due diligence of Mutual Funds, launch of MF ideas

Description :

Core Functional :

- Product Origination - Origination of Mutual Fund ideas, across fixed income and equity, tie-ups with AMC's, due diligence of Mutual Funds, launch of MF ideas

- Mutual Funds Research and Analysis - analysis of Mutual Funds across product categories on multiple parameters, continuous tracking of mutual funds, benchmarking, etc., meetings with fund management teams for initiation of ideas / tracking of existing recommendations

- Product support - Publishing mutual fund and related product collaterals on a regular basis

- Sales Co-ordination and Support - supporting RMs in increasing sales penetration across focus ideas, ongoing tracking of business, working closely with back-office for process aspects, transaction processing and MIS

Client Management (internal & external) :

- Working closely with Markets IWMS (India) team members for product origination, diligence, etc.

- Working closely with RMs, Team Heads and Business Heads for marketing the recommended products, resolving product issues, monitoring sales, etc.

- Arranging Fund Manager calls with clients and RMs; also presenting products to clients, where needed

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management : Liaise with Legal/Compliance/Operations for process / documentation related aspects, and any regulatory requirements

Profile :

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION :

Personal and Social :

- Good communication skills (verbal, written)

- Good collaboration skills

Professional and Technical :

- 8-10 years' experience

- Strong functional knowledge across asset and product classes

- Should have experience distributing mutual funds, engaging with Asset Management Companies, etc.

- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point
