About the role:

Associate Director: Product Design Leader

Reports to: VP Product, Design, Analytics & Marketing

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership:

- Lead the vision of the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and innovation.

- Set & Maintain high standards for design quality and user experience across all products.

- Collaborate with the team to understand business goals and translate them into compelling design and solutions.

Design Strategy:

- Develop and articulate a clear design strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.

- Conduct regular user research to understand the pain points and be the voice of the user

- Drive design thinking mindset across the organization with workshops along with PM's, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user demands and business goals.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers , providing guidance on projects and career development.

- Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from the ideation to final implementation.

- Ensure timely delivery of design assets and alignment with project timelines.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus

- 8+ years of experience within Product Design in B2B companies.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.

- Technically strong in design systems, HTML, CSSand Javascript.

- Strong Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
