Role : Associate Director-Procurement Technology Pre-Sales and Solutions

Job Description :
The Procurement Technology Pre-Sales and Solutions Associate Director will be a key leader to help accelerate go-to-market strategy for Organizations Digital Solutions. The candidate should possess 10+ years of experience in providing digital technology and software solutions for Procurement (Source-to-Pay) clients globally. This will include assessing the digital needs and opportunities with prospective clients, supporting the digital solutions deal scoping and solutioning, solution demonstration and presentation, pricing and contracting and supporting the definition and maturity of our overall digital technology sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the end-to-end deal pursuits for procurement digital capabilities - identify opportunity, pitch the right digital solution, solution building, business case creation, etc.
2. Engage with client stakeholders in requirement gathering sessions / workshops to understand client digital transformation needs, consult/provide customized solutions, develop business case
3. Working with Sales to drive the pre-sales phase by introducing Organizations Digital Products and provide product demonstrations - functionality, system architecture, etc. - by interfacing with prospective and current customers, and in close collaboration with Product Managers.
4. Having a detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of the Organizations Digital Products
5. Identify key opportunity areas in conjunction with Sales and Product SME's across geographies to develop digital transformation initiatives and plan aligned to strategy and business outcomes
6. Responsible for making tailor made presentations and proposals for clients
7. Engaging with 3rd party technology partners where appropriate for digital solution development, technical discussions and demonstrations.
8. Responsible for liaising between internal stakeholder such as product management, sales, service delivery teams to build an end-to end solution for the customer, and finalizing SOW
9. Collaborate with product management team for market feedback and prioritizing market needs to our product roadmap
10. Ensure that the RFPs/RFIs response clearly articulated, in the best possible manner.
11. Support product marketing and sales content and collateral
Desired Experience:
- Very good understanding of digital ecosystem within procurement and experience in solutioning digital technologies and tools, automation, analytics etc.
- Well versed with process diagnostics, blueprinting activities etc. and savvy with PowerPoint and Excel
- Exposure to commercial models understanding relevant to Procurement technologies (e.g., cost break down sheets, business case analysis, TCO analysis, etc.)
- Possesses sound Procurement experience and technology acumen, understanding of procurement processes, including category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and the landscape of procurement technologies.
- Proven client management skills and ability to handle high pressure situations and multi-task
- Co-ordination and project management skills with an analytical mindset - ability to understand customer requirements in a service industry and provide appropriate solution
- A strong leader and a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with client stakeholders)
- Excellent problem-solving ability
Educational Qualifications:
-PG / MBA / Graduate with min 10+ years of work experience in Procurement, digital technology / software, sales and commercial, and client solutioning.
-Certification in Procurement/ Supply Chain - desirable
-Procurement technology platform certifications and implementation experience a plus.
