We currently have an Associate Director-Procurement-Facilities Management role open with an E-Commerce company in Bangalore.
The Associate Director - FMS Procurement is responsible for being the single point of contact for to provide hand-on Leadership support for procurement for the Infrastructure and Administrative indirect activities for all offices at Pan India / Regional Level. Defining and successfully implementing procurement strategies in Facility Management Function on the basis of procurement plan, identify solution approach and integrating various objects in order to achieve division/department goals.
Areas of responsibility include and do not limit to procurement & contract management for the following categories viz.. Administration, Security, transport, housekeeping, cafeteria, travel & living, Hotel management, access control, EHS, Hospitality, contract labor management etc. manage key external vendors for any New or renewal of office equipment, Products or service contracts.
This position is responsible for developing a long-term strategy with suppliers and vendors to achieve financial and service level targets. In addition to working with all areas of facility, the incumbent will also manage and build facility Procurement team and partner with other functions like finance and legal to develop sourcing strategy, negotiation tactics and manage contract terms and conditions while minimizing the liability/exposure.
Additionally, the AD Procurement - FMS will create metrics for each contract and measure the vendor's capability.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible to drive & support facility, Admin Procurement activities pertaining to either of the three categories, namely Facility management in Pan India offices, Administration, Infrastructure function.
Work with stake holders in identification & achieve the best cost for to Maintain new infrastructure. Egs: Guest accommodation, OHC, Canteen.
Lead in price & vendor finalization for organization and management of events.
Manage all procurement services like Transport, Canteen. Introduce new service offering. & Improve and drive hospitality levels across all functions of the to provide best in class service by vendor performance.
Work in identification of new vendors to develop future roadmap for Infrastructure & Support services to enhance overall customer and employee experience
Establish best practices and service levels, tracking and control mechanism for efficient implementation of procurement for the facility management & administrative activities.
Ensure a quick turn around time for to meet the customer requirements for a PR to PO process.
Work with the stake holders and vendors to effectively Plan, develop and implement a strategy to operationalize facility management services or administrative procurement so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales
RFX activities, Supplier selection, Supplier Due diligence, Negotiation, Tactical buying, Contract management (includes creation), Catalogue Management (includes enablement), enhance P-card coverage,
Supplier management, Statutory & Regulatory risk management, support audits, management reporting, and independent Stakeholder / Supplier / Client management.
Implement effective procurement and supply chain strategies in support the strategic plans
Execute on commodity driven strategies for supplier rationalization and localization
Negotiations: Finalization of Contracts. National contracts for Volume benefit, integration of services under single vendors, pooling of demand & Increase contract coverage.
MIS & Controlling (Commercial Functions): Saving details, Contract matrix, Procurement Reports & Adherence analysis.
Ensuring documentation as per process and controlling procurement resources and activities
Functions, Contract types, Laws covering contract & SCM Governance Activities.
