We are hiring for Manager / Associate Director for Accounting Advisory Team with one of the Big4.

Job Responsibilities :
- Lead / Manage a team of Juniors for executing projects on behalf of international teams and clients ('onshore teams')
- To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to Director.
- Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders
- Provide conversion services to U.S., U.K and foreign registered companies to / from U.S. / U.K Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)/IND-As.
- Provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
- Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carveouts, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions
- Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team
- Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development
- Provide transaction oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, complex financial instruments, revenue recognition and leases.
- Prepare and present accounting whitepapers
Key competencies:
- Significant experience in IFRS / US GAAP / Ind-As (or) for 7-12 years (latest) in similar role.
- Involved in at least 5 Years Ind-AS conversion engagements as a preparer or direct reviewer or engagement manager.
- Post qualification experience of working on IFRS / USGAAP / UKGAAP / Ind-AS either as an auditor or as an accountant / advisor.
- Prior experience in project scoping, effort estimate, project work planning, team handling, staffing, providing feedback, etc.
- Led a small team on projects and experience of handling direct reportees including their performance management
- Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects.
- Engagements must have substantively involved debt-equity classification and accounting, revenue recognition, embedded derivative analysis, consolidation assessments, joint arrangements, service concession arrangements, acquisition accounting.
Proficiency level:
General IFRS / US GAAP / Ind-AS across all topics at a high proficiency level. Experience on Big 4 audit methodology and preparing in training material for Internal team or clients
Excellent communication skills: Speaking and Writing
- Minimum 7+ year of post qualification experience
- Good to have IFRS diploma but not necessary.
