Associate Director - Learning & Development
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will partner closely with senior leaders to execute the Learning agenda. This position will also foster relationships with global internal learning partners by establishing and maintaining exceptional collaborative relationships with HR partners, business stakeholders and vendors.
- The incumbent is expected to contribute in the transformation and execution of development opportunities across all levels of the organization.
- The ideal candidate is a strong, consultative learning practitioner with exemplary stakeholder management skills and with a hands on working style.
Broad responsibilities include:
- Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of learning strategies that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of talent.
- Initiate, create, execute and maintain effective programs that help in workforce retention, promotion and succession.
- Provide required consultative and execution support in organizational strategic planning initiatives and in team effectiveness programs; This may include planning and developing business or functional change management plans, post-survey analysis and action plans (i.e. external and internal surveys), and senior leadership team development (i.e., offsite development programming) that supports the site/functions focus mission, vision and focus areas.
- Should have experience in creation and execution of senior leadership development programs and acceleration experiences.
- Should have experience in Talent Management and Succession Planning processes.
- Act in support of the Generation Leadership Development Programs by presenting, facilitating, and/or developing content or support materials for specified programs
- Use leadership development strategies, tools, and processes to identify learning needs and employee competencies.
- Establish ways to measure the total effectiveness of all learning and development programs - report training data and statistics and leveraging key metrics to enhance the learning and talent management experience
- Establish partnerships with internal services and third party vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Effectively utilize learning budget
- Work on one / two cross functional projects within the HR Team
Preferred Experience: 12-14 years, with minimum of 8-10 years in learning/leadership development and talent management
Interactions / Interpersonal Skills:
- Requires a proven track record of exemplary work in the learning and leadership development space. Thorough understanding of adult learning theory, learning technologies, instructional design methodologies and evaluation of learning solutions.
- Excellent communication , stakeholder management, influencing skills, drive for results and team work is necessary in this role.
- Proven record illustrating the successful completion of a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
- Be a Experience in talent management, succession planning and driving talent outcomes is essential.
- Experience with self-starter, self-directed, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task without missing deadlines.
- Data Analytics, ability to create dashboards, work on large complex sets of data on excel and make reports/dashboards is a bonus.
- Flexible and willing to take on additional or changing responsibilities as the function grows or changes.
- Familiarity with personality assessments and psychometric tools is desired.
