Associate Director Finance (CA compulsory)

The role will be heading & managing the Finance & compliance function, overseeing the daily operation of Accounting Department & compliance management for 2 legal entities in India. The position calls for a high degree of participation in the business MIS, planning and reporting activities. This position reports to the CEO.

- Finance Strategy, Controllership & Reporting - Leads the Monthly/Annual closing of books as per IGAAP and preparation of statutory financials.

- Support the effective functioning of all Finance activities including Books of Accounts, banking and treasury, working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables, capex & payroll

- Compliances & Internal control - Evaluate and monitor risks, upgrade controls, IFC's regarding operations of company on an ongoing basis

- Take full ownership and responsibility of all applicable compliances including tax (Direct tax & Indirect tax) compliances.

- Stakeholder Management - Liaise with onshore team (group companies), external customers and resolve their queries/ provide them with relevant reports as required

- Team Leadership - Advises team members on their performance within the accounting department and on their career, progression prospects within the department

Skills & Experience:

- CA is a must and Bachelors in Commerce.

- 12+ years of experience

Required Skills:

- Should bring deep knowledge of Indian accounting, taxation and statutory laws, strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset

- Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience with proven track record of working in the Finance function of organizations for a service delivery organization (preferably a shared service setup) with large scale operational setup

- Ability to successfully lead departmental improvement projects, demonstrating project management skills and the ability to drive projects to completion

- Ability to work with cross functional teams

- Europe Shift working - with stretch during peak days
