Associate Director - Engineering

A US based CpaaS company (communication platform) is hiring for multiple leadership roles. As an engineering leader you will be the tech evangelist and drive adherence to best practices in coding and architectural guidelines.

We need leaders from product based companies with minimum 9 - 13 years of experience, strong people management skills and hands-on with NodeJS/PHP/React Native.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

- Responsible for mentoring, people management and team building

- Participating in strategic business and product planning process

- Managing multiple small teams by setting requirements, goals and timelines.

- Provide technical direction on all development activities

- Recruiting, managing and owning the responsibility to develop a top-class team.

- Being aware of new technologies and issues including platforms, standards and methodology

Work Location

We operate on a Hybrid model - you choose where you work from! Remotely or from our offices. Currently our talent is spread across 14 different cities globally.

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities :

- 10-12 years of industry experience

- 4+ years of experience managing and leading development teams.

- Self-initiative to take up responsibility and ownership of tasks and ensure end to end delivery and completion with the highest level of quality.

- Prior experience in developing products and solutions around latest technologies in frontend and backend with Cloud, and managing very high concurrency.

- Proven track record of leading application development and engineering for high growth companies.

- Excellent communication & leadership skills with a passion to solve real life problems.

- Good aptitude / logical thinking

- Strong people management and team building skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate dependencies, and interact with other internal teams such as Product/Sales/Marketing.
