Position Overview:

- Daloopa is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our financial data team, with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing operational workflows, implementing automation tools, and driving efficiencies within financial data processes.

- This role requires deep expertise in financial analysis, sector/industry understanding, operational excellence, and an innovative mindset to help scale Daloopa's data operations to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality & Timeliness:

- Ensure that all financial data meets high standards of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

- This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of analysts over time as well as ensuring that our financial models do not miss any important operational and financial KPIs.

- Additionally, the role oversees the earnings update process, ensuring that all financial models are updated with the latest results within specified deadlines.

Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead, mentor, and grow the financial data operations team comprising of 25-50 financial analysts building and updating financial models, establishing a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Training:

- This role requires actively training and mentoring the team to take on more complex analytical tasks.

- Additionally, the training is geared towards helping team members develop in-depth expertise in specific sectors.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:

- Analyze current financial data processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.

- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and enhance the overall data lifecycle.

Automation & Technology Integration:

- Leverage and implement automation tools and technologies to increase the efficiency of data collection, validation, and processing.

- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to develop and refine tools for automating recurring processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with product, engineering, and client success teams to ensure that operational processes align with client needs and product goals.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality data services to our clients.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Develop and maintain KPIs to track the performance of financial data operations team.

- Implement regular reporting and dashboards to monitor key metrics, identify trends, and ensure alignment with company goals.

Scaling & Growth:

- Develop strategies to scale financial data operations as Daloopa grows, ensuring that processes can handle increasing volumes of data efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

- A candidate with a degree in finance, along with some experience or exposure to would be preferred.

- This combination of financial computer engineering, would be preferred.

- This combination of financial knowledge and technical skills will allow the candidate to better understand and contribute to both financial modelling and the implementation of technical solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency.

- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modelling in the equity research domain, with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and operational leadership.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively across teams.

- Experience with data quality control frameworks would be preferred.

- Proven experience in implementing automation technologies would be preferred.
