Associate Director/Director Marketing and Brand
Position : Associate Director / Director - Marketing and Brand
Location : Chennai
Budget : 20-25 lakhs
Currently work from home , very soon company may go in for Hybrid or permanent working out of Chennai location
Objectives :
- Objective is to strengthen brand positioning, increase brand visibility and recognition to strengthenand expand Origin's client base.
- Effectively utilize multiple media both online and offline, supporting the growth revenues through both hunting and farming.
Key job actions :
- Plan, develop, implement, & manage the company's strategic initiatives related to branding, marketing, public relations & engagement
- Measure & monitor ROI metrics behind all initiatives & tailor approach/techniques to improve ROI
- Identify the best methods & practices across various offline & digital channels including social media platforms
- Study current state of the marketing process & make necessary adjustments & improvements
- Lead a team of inbound & outbound marketing executives with the ability to build & mentor as our initiatives grow
- Define & detail the exhaustive list of activities pertinent to core marketing strategies including but not limited to email marketing, targeted events, social media marketing, campaigns, roadshows/events
- Craft messaging in consultation with Sales for services & products and run integrated marketing campaigns
- Employ tools & technologies such as CRM, marketing automation & similar to optimize the time-to-market cycles
- Provide market insights to technology & operations teams to continuously innovate and in turn generate content for marketing communication to support lead generation
- Conceptualize & formulate a framework for collaterals - print & digital - for campaigns, events/roadshows & to drive thought leadership.
- Strong copywriting/reviewing skills focusing on the brand & messaging
- Improve our social media presence to generate new leads
- Manage the overall budget for marketing initiatives & activities
- Establish a marketing communication & publishing calendar
- Onboard & partner with external agency, as required, for social media, website optimization & augment lead generation
- Maintain & periodically refresh our prospect/suspect database
- Work with the practice leads/heads to develop case studies, whitepapers, surveys & other collaterals.
Education : An MBA in marketing, business, and/or Post Graduation in mass communications
Experience :
- At least eight years in marketing manager, preferably in eLearning, IT services or product organization, or in any other services domain.
- Has a proven record of strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; and successful development and administration of a marketing program.
Required Skills :
- Must demonstrate initiative, be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments, and able to work well with leadership and staff at all levels in the organization.
- Must have excellent oral communication, written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to write effectively for public relations
and other purposes for audiences inside and outside Origin.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities for business development and manage a budget.
Preferable :
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Familiar with SEO and
- Google Analytics including ability to set goals, interpret metrics, and implement projects that will improve online performance and visibility.
