Associate Director - Management Consulting (People &amp; Organization) Position: Director - Management Consulting (People &amp; Organization) Functional Area: HR Consulting Industry : Management Consulting Qualification: Graduate from a reputed academic institution Experience: 10+ yrs Job Location: Kolkata / Gurgaon Role Dimension : - The incumbent of this role is a key face of the firm and the People &amp; Organization practice in the market. The focus of the role is to drive profitable,top- line growth while ensuring capability development for a sustainable practice. - The incumbent is expected to demonstrate thought leadership and the ability to work with the C-Suite of potential and existing clients to develop and deliver high-impact solutions that leverage the expertise of the organization as a whole (Management Consulting as well as Advisory), with specific focus on People &amp; Organization as a competency. Key Responsibilities : a. Business Development - Mapping the market and independently/jointly identifying and leading pursuits across industry verticals and offerings. - Supporting the firm's key account strategy by driving focus on critical accounts for the practice as well as support national/globalaccounts. - Crafting and representing the People&amp;Organization point of view in external and internal [cross-functional,multi-disciplinary] forums, independently or in alignment with the large firm perspective. - Leading solution definition by weaving together the client's perspective with Organization's expertise and creating/communicating a compelling value proposition for clients. - Ensuring adherence to Organization's commercial,independence and risk guidelines. b. Business Delivery - Playing the role of a SME to drive execution excellence. - Reviewing frameworks,processes and deliverable to ensure alignment with Organization's risk,quality and delivery excellence guidelines. c. Thought Leadership - Partnering with the larger team to author/curate/contribute in developing the research base of the practice. - Work with member firms globally to understand the Organization's capability repertoire and look at how to position that in the Indian context more effectively. d. Practice Management - Support strategy development and deployment for the practice. - Drive focus on key processes at a P&amp;O level e.g.capability building,etc. - Team Management- Leading a team of consultants/Sr. Consultants in project contexts as well as a people manager. - Providing feedback and helping them develop by balancing their aspirations with firm or practice expectations. Prerequisite : - 10+ yrs of professional experience in a mix of consulting and corporate roles with experience of managing a P&amp;L at a line of business / product level - End-to-end human capital subject knowledge with deep expertise in 1-2 specific areas - hands-on knowledge of the HR Technology - Strong industry connects [ref's from 2 CXOs, 2 CHROs] - Strong learning intelligence
