Job Description:

Business Partnering:

1. Influence and drive business decision making with appropriate scenario building, analysis and comments

2. From time to time, assist in in-depth analysis of key financial information, identify exception/ inconsistencies, initiate action and follow-up for logical closure

3. Define, identify and track appropriate metrics, KPIs and associated drivers

Budgeting & Forecasting:

1. Responsible for developing monthly, quarterly and annual operating plan along with initiatives, how lists and measurable targets. Be responsible for obtaining sign off from all stakeholders

2. Work with relevant stakeholders to close actual cost for the month. Ensure that accruals are in-line with agreed commercials framework

Process Improvements, Controls & Commercials:

1. Review and strengthen existing business & operational processes to drive right accountability and ensuring strong controls are in place

2. Partner with controller ship org to identify, plug & build robust processes to reduce shrinkage

Must Have Skills:

1. Strong bias for action and ability to get the work done in strict timelines

2. Proactive & self-starter. Should be a strong individual contributor

3. Strong business and financial acumen to convert analysis into a compelling business story. Ability to articulate with strong communication/presentation skills

4. Rational decision making, negotiating and influencing skills with an analytical work style. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently with minimum hand-holding

5. Orientation to detail with ability to deal with large ambiguous data sets. Proficiency in spreadsheet modelling necessary

6. Customer first approach for solving any business problem. Ability to quantify risk to customer metrics for any decision making

7. Team management experience

8. 10 -14 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment

9. Professional qualifications (1st Attempt CA or an MBA from Tier 1 B School)
