Associate Director - Direct Tax - Consulting Firm

Technical capabilities :

- Preparing and finalizing responses to technical queries

- Ideation and product development basis key legislative changes

- Conceptualizing /Preparing / finalizing various research / position papers.

- Liaising with external counsels to obtain opinions on key matters.

- Responsibility to update, maintain and periodically review quality content on internal KM database.

- Sharing technical inputs for news alerts, thought leadership, quotes, budget exercise etc.

- Plan and implement monthly technical programmed on current developments / significant case laws / relevant topics from domestic and international tax laws.

- Development of standard submissions, representations, checklists for tax

- Accompanying the client facing team in meetings / calls with clients, as and when required basis

Communications :

- Identifying key developments for sharing with internal stakeholders and help in identifying marketing opportunities

- Identifying important case laws / other developments for news alerts to be released -internal / external.

- Development and finalising contents of tax podcast released at regular intervals by the firm.

- Development of thought leadership publications

- Content development for presentations for tax partners for various seminars and conferences.
