Job Description

- Snowflake Architect is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data warehouse and analytics solutions to meet enterprise's business analysis and reporting needs

- Create data models (dimensional, relational), data marts in Snowflake to deliver performant solutions

- create end-to end data architecture which involves snowflake

- Develop tables, views, SQL, stored procedures and snow pipe

- Develop pipe lines using spark API's

- Develop continues data pipelines, real-time replication solutions into Snowflake

- Work with large data volumes including structured and unstructured data

- Interact with stake holders in developing the complete data solution on snowflake

- Must have good communication & able to handle the respective stake holders.

Qualifications & Requirements

- 12+ years of experience in the Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects and 5+ years working as Data Architect and at least 5 years of Snowflake hand-on experience

- Excellent knowledge in Business Intelligence and Visualisation

- Excellent knowledge of RDBMS , SQL, OLAP, OLTP, NO-SQL databases, JSON

- Must have hands-on experience in SnowSQL, JavaScript Stored Procedures, performance tuning and Streaming Ingestion

- Expertise and excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and Integration

- Hands-on experience with programming in Python or Java, scala , Pyspark

- Well versed with spark technologies

- Well versed with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Well versed in creating or fine-tuning snowpipes. Hands-on experience with snowspark API's.

- Well-versed with security concepts in handling the data from source to storage and reporting

- Working knowledge of CI/CD, git pipelines

- Knowledge of data engineering python libraries

- Must have strong business process knowledge in healthcare

- Proficiency in data modeling, very good understanding of data management concepts such as 3NF, multi-dimensional and data marts

- Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting end-to-end

- Ability to suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Expertise with snowflake object-level, column and row level access controls

- Expertise in parsing various file formats like JSON, Parquet, Avro and xml

- Well versed with handling batch, micro batch & real-time data ingestion into the snowflake

- Good understanding of snowflake virtual warehouse, data sharing and optimization

- Good to have snowflake certification
