Associate Director - Data Analytics - Insurance

We have openings with our client who are into Financial Services - Research and Analytic.

Position based out of Pune.

Role Summary:

- Support in building Insurance vertical for Data Analytics

- Build Insurance service offering, go to market strategies and collaborate with sales team to showcase value proposition to potential clients

- Develop, maintain and foster strong client relationships and lead large client engagements independently.

- Lead multiple research projects and client assignments ensuring appropriate workflow planning, resource utilization, and quality assurance

- Guide the team in problem solving, develop analytical techniques and frameworks, and the creation of research end-products

- Recruit, train, coach and develop research analysts & managers

Skill Set:

- Best in class domain understanding of Insurance industry across life and non-life. Additional exposure to health care insurance would be a plus.

- Exposure in insurance fraud, claim management, pricing, premium models, solvency

- Hands on with working experience on SAS and R; in depth knowledge of various statistical techniques and other BI and Visualization tools

- Knowledge of stats + data mining + data modeling + algorithms

- Rich experience in advanced analytics - predictive analytics, forecasting techniques (with Machine learning would be a plus)

- Strong interpersonal skill, entrepreneurial mindset

- Self-motivated , ability to handle ambiguity and work in unstructured environment

- Strong problem solving skills
