- Driving priorities and overall transformation of the organizationally in partnership with others across the organization.
- Designing and implementing a robust, interactive, and digitally-oriented employee communications program to align the employee community to strategic objectives, celebrate their and the organization's success, and make them embrace and champion transformation in a highly engaging environment.
- Devising and executing a calibrated public relations strategy aligned with Co's global communication and branding guidelines.
- Providing advice and on-ground support at industry events, campus relations, and other external engagements, ensuring the highest standards of branding and reputation.
- Leading the internal CSR Committee responsible for creating and running impactful community programs, upholding Co's core values and promoting volunteerism.
- Serving as the primary owner for crisis communications, managing the delivery ecosystem and developing effective messaging, and working with the Crisis Management Team.
- Creating and developing annual strategic communication plans, allocating appropriate talent and resources in all communications initiatives and guiding them to completion.
- Formulating a business-wide communication strategy, regularly assessing the effectiveness of communication channels, and establishing and implementing measures that will create awareness and momentum and test the effectiveness of communication activities.
- Challenging the status quo and the communications function and seeking out new creative, innovative ways and opportunities for brand elevation.
- Building relationships within and outside the business, externally with consumers and media personnel leading to an increased generation of content in the media, industry forums, and on social media platforms.
- Work Location - Chennai or Hyderabad
You'll need to have:
- Experience creating a world-class communication strategy for large organizations (preferably Global Capability Centers of large-scale MNCs in India)
- Experience with a wide variety of internal and external communication mechanisms and philosophies.
- Experience working with multicultural and diverse teams.
- Experience with leadership communications.
- Experience writing, editing, and scripting for all media formats.
- Experience with video production, webcast production, and social media campaign and content management.
- Experience with content marketing, branding, and positioning.
Even better if you have:
- Fifteen or more years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media.
- Experience with video production, webcast production, and social media campaign and content management.
- Skill in leading and influencing others.
- Skill in project management and budgeting.
- The ability to identify appropriate performance metrics and report outcomes of communication program efforts.
- The ability to navigate social systems and manage a wide stakeholder network.
- Knowledge of and skill in public relations.
- A strong interest in technology.
- The ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions.
- A drive for results.
