Position: Associate Director - Capital Market  No of positions: 2  Location: Bangalore/Chennai  Experience: 5+ years   Qualification: CFA / CA 1st Attempt or MBA Finance from tier 1 Institutes and a minimum of (two to four years of related experience).  Job Summary:  - Under moderate supervision, conducts advanced financial analysis/research to support Investment Banking initiative.   - Prepares financial models used to evaluate financial structures for investment banking transactions and details the analysis conducted to support that value.   - Analysis may be used for investment banking advisory services.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  - Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. Coordinates the work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees.  - May assist in training junior level employees.  - Decisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.  - Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.  - Conducts research on companies and real estate assets. Presents their analysis for presentations and tracking purposes in appropriate databases.  - conduct more complex advanced financial analysis to reach a value conclusion.  - May conduct more complex underwriting duties to support Investment Banking.   - prepare financial models used to evaluate financial structures for investment banking transactions.  - Creates reports on a(n) entity's/property's financial position outlining assumptions and valuation.  - Interacts with team members, clients, and potential investors with respect to financial analysis.   - Writes the financial section of Placement Memorandum. Answers questions from potential clients regarding the financial modeling associated with Placement Memorandum.  - May coordinate activities of support staff.  Desired Skills and Experience:  Communication Skills:  - Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents.   - Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format.   - Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.   - Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.  Certificates and Licenses:  - Series 79 and 63 preferred to enter job. Series 79 and 63 taken during first three months of employment.  Other Skills & Abilities:  - Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.  - Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.  - Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
