Associate Director - Business Research/Intelligence - Infra/Urban Transport Sector

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Business Intelligence:

- Conduct comprehensive research on the Indian urban transport and infrastructure sectors for business intelligence reports and bespoke assignments.

- Develop research plans, prepare ToCs, and analyze key industry trends, policies, regulations, and markets.

- Estimate market sizes, conduct opportunity assessments, and develop projections and forecasts for the industry.

- Analyze competitor landscape, conduct financial analysis, and research other relevant aspects of business intelligence.

- Prepare insightful business articles on industry-related topics, including policy, finance, regulation, and projects.

Team Leadership & Communication:

- Manage a team of research associates and analysts, providing guidance and support for professional development.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented research environment.

- Deliver presentations on research findings at industry events and conferences.

- Effectively communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences through reports, articles, and presentations.

Networking & Industry Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with key industry leaders and government officials.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments through networking and active participation.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in research or business intelligence, with a strong focus on the infrastructure and urban transport sectors (experience in India is a must).

- Proven track record of leading and managing research teams.

- Strong analytical and research skills with a passion for learning and staying current on industry trends.

- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.

- High degree of intellectual curiosity, an analytical mind, and a strong work ethic.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines.

- Strong sense of ethics and commitment to delivering high-quality research
