About the role :
Associate Director- Business Development (Financial Services)
New York
MBA/ PGDBM/ MMS or equivalent
- Strong understanding of recent trends in the financial services sector and ability to position the organisation offerings in the context of clients- business objectives
- Own and deliver sales quota across new and existing accounts in the financial services sector
- Ability to run high-quality sales cycles including lead generation, qualification, deal nurturing, negotiation and deal closure
- Manage client relationships, identify requirements and cross-sell the company services across existing clients
- Ability to position the organisation offshore-based services as a strategic initiative to a C-level audience, build the business case and create compelling value proposition for organisations offerings
- Work closely with the organisation's product management and delivery teams to create compelling solutions
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with senior management to draft company's - Go To Market- strategy and execute the strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities
- Grow company's business across new and existing clients and achieve revenue targets; engage in account management actively including developing deep understanding of client requirements, farming new areas and providing strategic support for delivery teams
- Strong network within the financial services sector in the US and Canada
- Proven ability in selling to the financial services sector
- Strong ability in generating and qualifying leads
- Demonstrated experience in navigating large and complex organizations, understanding client requirements, qualifying leads, making high-impact client presentations and driving custom proposals
- 10+ years experience (mostly across business development with a focus on generating revenues and meeting sales targets)
- Prior experience in working with product management and delivery teams across the globe
- Ability and willingness to build and manage a sales team
- Willingness to travel within the US and Canada
