Role : Associate Director

Location : Pan India (Remote)
Roles & Responsibilities :
Team management:
- Primary responsibility to manage the overall functioning of accounting and auditing subgroups within NPSG and support the NPSP in discharging his/her role
- Assist in setting-up and review of internal processes and policies for NPSG with respect to workflow and review mechanism and ensuring adherence to the same
- Managing work allocations and monitoring the team with respect to project timelines and quality of output
- Assist in assessing resourcing, preparing team budgets and monitoring utilization / spend
- Playing the role of a ?Supercoach? effectively
Technical service delivery:
- Review all guidance (alerts, checklists, model templates etc.) issued by NPSG
- Review all internal and external publications prior to release
- Assisting in drafting the firm's comment letters, representations and co-authored guidance or projects with regulators
- Developing and assisting in hosting the quarterly and other one-time technical webcasts.
- Assist in setting up and continuous monitoring of need to change or update firm's consultation policies
- Review critical and non-routine consultations with the NPSG team prior to discussions with NPSP
- Play pivotal role in central review of financial statements of audit clients as per policy
- Leading team discussions, and discussions with the engagement teams, including with engagement partners on technical issues
- Managing planning, execution and monitoring pre-issuance reviews of listed company financial statements
Knowledge management:
- Ensuring continuous update of the knowledge management database which serves as a single window for all the technical resources requirement for assurance
- Conceptualizing, designing and delivering accounting and auditing technical training for assurance
Desired Profile:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 9-11 years of experience in assurance services of a reputed firm
Skills Set:
- Thorough technical knowledge and experience in application of corporate laws, accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS), auditing standards, etc.
- General awareness of business and regulatory environment across multiple industries
- Proactively seek and give guidance, clarifications and feedback
- Have working knowledge of MS Office - word, power point and excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Report writing - clarity of thought, articulation of observation/ issues, excellent command over written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under strict timelines and high pressure situations
